Simply put this was the best experience I’ve ever had staying in a hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make my daughter and I comfortable. Totally idyllic two day stay at the Ivy to celebrate a birthday. Talked long time friends into joining us from five hours away and we all could not have been more pleased. Rooms were impeccably clean with unique decor and personal touches. Amenities were complimentary and plentiful. Staff was gracious and kind. So much to discover in the surrounding historic district- walks, art museums, etc but did not want to leave the comfortable surroundings and ambiance of the hotel. Like a small luxury cruise ship, not on water. Lovely!

Everything about this hotel is fantastic: the restaurant, the afternoon tea service, the rooms, the public areas, and especially the staff. The hotel was nice, the staff was mostly kind. I was disappointed that they did not have gluten free options when ordering room service and I had a mild allergic reaction my first evening there even though I had provided my allergies and special diet in advance and on the day of check in. The afternoon tea was amazing and so was the breakfast. Loved the snacks and drinks that were included as well and the included car service, and included valet.
