The room and bathroom are a little small for a family of 5. The location is great since it’s walking distance to all of the great shopping in Ginza. Great location to the train station. Awesome staff and service.

Good place to stay. The room was tiny, but that is probably the case for all hotels in Tokyo. Location was good, a short walk to train stations and thus to Tsukiji market, Tokyo tower, and other central areas. Not a lot of good food around, but wonder a few stations using the subway to shibuya or other areas and you won't have a problem.

Ginza for Rinza

This hotel was centrally located to get to Tokyo Station, Tokyo Skytree, Electric City, and other districts. 24 hour convenience store on the 1st floor with good meal options. 3-6 minutes walk to get to the Ginza Subway line and others. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although only some speak English. ☆☆☆☆ 1/2 out of 5

Hotel is an older facility, older yellow bathrooms need a renovation update. Amazing staff! Good location by Shimbashi station. On the edge of Ginza.

The location is great. The staff were excellent. My biggest complaint is that the elevators are very small and slow for a building of this size. You could be waiting 10min to go anywhere.

Good location. very near Shimbashi Station. Taxi from Tokyo Station is only 1000JPY. Hotel is Just round the corner of Ginza Shopping Strip. Lots of restaurants on both sides of Railway tracks. Lots to eat at breakfast buffet. There is free coffee/tea room with vending machine, free drinks. Family mart is just downstair of hotel. We love this location.

Noise problem

I stayed for five days. During four of the four days, there was a loud noise coming from the toilet ceiling in the middle of the night. There may be a problem with the machine near the toilet. Sometimes it was very loud, sometimes it was quiet, which affected sleep.

Cheap motel room wrapped in a golden shell

Writing this review to help fellow travelers to avoid a huge spam , this is the first time I experience such a huge gap between Hotel.com description and the actual situation, unlike the 7.8 online reviews , I would rate it 3 out of 10. The Grand Ginza Hotel is in fact a very poor managed hotel with unbelievable low quality room, first , the size of the room is the smallest I have witnessed, compared to other hotels , it's a ripoff, I can barely move around in the 2 meter long , 1 meter wide walk way with a my . Second, the furniture is either chipped or stained. Look at the picture , thirdly , what kind of hotel offers only ONE pillow ? Not four, not two, but just one! Finally, the bathroom ......dim light, rustic fixtures, if I get a chance to look at the actual picture ( not a polished ) before I book, I would have known that I am going to stay in a motel room not a so called 3 and half hotel :( Yes, Ginza , by all means , a prime location in Tokyo , but with the sufficient transportation, that doesn't mean you have to downgrade your room to such low level ! Oh, only ONE tiny elevator for this grand Ginza hotel, if you need to catch a train to the airport , be prepared to wait 20 mins . 100%Disappointed and would never return or choose Ginza location again .

The single bed takes 80% space of the room , all the way to the window

Check the tiny doorway , no way to open a 28* suitcase, it will block the door to the bathroom

The bathroom that looks like a cheap motel or even worse
