the mixture of modern and retro decor create a great vibe to the hotel, the room was perfect for a solo travel and much more spacious that i had anticipated but its the staff that elevate the experience of staying there from standard to exceptional. from my initial bag drop through checking in to checking out. i can not fault this hotel. I always received a cheery good morning or good evening from the reception staff and I would particularly like to shout out Anita who was always genuinely interested in what I had been doing that day. If I'm visiting Dublin again I will return here but I will also look into the other Marlin hotels thanks to the outstanding service I experienced on this trip.

Most of the staff was warm, outstanding hospitality. One night shift desk ladies was efficient but cold, slightly condescending in her efficient manner to myself—and how she addressed others in queue. Efficient staff is great, but genuine hospitality is the touch we will return for—especially after customers being travel weary.
Will return. Delicious breakfast and very neat rooms!

The Flannery’s were excellent hosts. Lovely quiet part of the village along by the Shannon. Lovely room, bed and breakfast. Flynn’s Restaurant offers great food and service and the marina a picturesque walk after. A haven for fishing too.

Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes.
