Stayed for 3nights Room clean though bathroom needed updating,tiles marked,shower leaked+++,drain blocked. Staff were amazing,fridge didn’t work,they replaced immediately Breakfast was fabulous,huge variety of cuisines,fresh cooked eggs and noodle station Huge variety of breads and pastries ,juices,cereals Coffee machine that made the best coffee my husband has drunk in Bali!

My wife and I stayed at The Bale for two weeks in June 2026. I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations we’ve had and its in large part due to our stay at The Bale. As background, my wife and I primarily look for relaxation on our vacations over a plethora of excursions and sightseeing. Bali was beautiful and the excursions were great but this review is solely about our stay at The Bale. As mentioned, our primary goal on vacation is to relax so where we stay is paramount in whether our stay is good or not. If you are looking to relax and be pampered, then The Bale is perfect. There are only 30 or so units and its adult only so it was very tranquil and quiet during our stay. The room we stayed in (One Bedroom Deluxe) was incredible. The room was clean and very well kept. The staff cleaned it daily and provided turn down service at night. The private pool was a terrific addition as I often woke up, hit the gym and came back to the room to shower and hit the gym. Speaking of the shower, the outdoor shower was a huge favorite of my wife and me. The butler service (and service in general) provided was exceptional. The staff provided amenities, room service, arranged excursions for us, arranged transportation throughout Bali and answered ordinary questions all through the app. The staff was very quick to respond to inquiries/requests through the app, which was nice. I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very enjoyable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. Every team member I encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, which made me feel valued as a guest throughout my stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, both in the rooms and the common areas. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining high standards, and it was clear that cleanliness is a priority here. The room was comfortable, well-presented, and a relaxing place to return to after a busy day. The pool was another highlight of my stay. It was well maintained and provided a great place to relax and unwind. I also appreciated how accommodating the staff were when I requested a late check-out. While there was an additional fee, the process was handled smoothly and gave me extra flexibility on my departure day. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of fresh and tasty options available each morning. I also used the in-room dining service and was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced the menu was compared to many other hotels. The food was enjoyable and offered great value for money. The location is another strong point. The hotel is conveniently situated close to shopping areas and cafes, and the beach is easily accessible with a short taxi ride.
