"This was one of the very best places we stayed in the 6 weeks we spent in Italy and Portugal! The owner, Silvio, is such a kind and generous host, and he has created a uniquely beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the

and Jacuzzi, set in an incredibly lovely garden, and the stone house was just as charming. Silvio has done a beautiful job decorating, and does so many nice touches that add to the warmth and beauty of the property. This is a great place to stay, and we would love to come back!"

"Don’t be fooled by the drive down to the driveway doors. Once they open, the property is beautiful. Common area for leisure and dining very tastefully decorated. Our room was very clean and spacious. Would highly recommend this place for affordable accommodation. Manuela suggested we eat at a restaurant down the street(Cancelas) what a wonderful place to eat. One portion was enough for 2. The bacalhau with the restaurant special sauce was delicious. "
