Superb accommodation. My wife and I had a lovely stay at Aslyp 114. Staff were very kind and friendly. Honestly Anna and Joseph treated us like their own family. I had trouble buying tickets for a day tour to Andorra. Anna helped me buy the tikets. If it wasn't because of her hard efforts we would have missed that opportunity. Hotel is located in a nice area of Barcelona near bus station and metro. It is very clean and friendly staff are ready to help you in any way they can to make your stay better. Breakfast was good and if you plan to leave the place before dinning area is open for breakfast, they pack you a to go bag. We enjoyed our visit there very much and hope to stay there again.

We were pleased the hostal has rooms with private bath. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very nice. Since we had to leave before the breakfast starts, the staff let us take some food with us.

The client is responsible for reading all the information about our establishment and making sure that he knows where he is booking. We suggest that next time he informs himself about the establishment before booking, not only the price is important We would all avoid bad experiences.

Hmm
Hard to find tiny entrance and poor sign. Tiny shower hatd to get into cause door couldn't open as it hit the counter. Electric pump for drains is noisy all night. bunch of prepackaged stuff for breakfast. Long walk from train.and over-priced gor basic room with no frills.

Great value and customer service
Great place to stay and easy to access the main spots by bus or metro. All the employees were friendly and left luggage is a great bonus. Breakfast was as expected but having a self service coffee machine was a pleasant surprise. Will be sure to come back again next time I'm back!

Lovely accomodation
My room was instantly upgraded and they gave me a bottle of wine as well! Super friendly staff, very accommodating. Clean room (huge for just one person in my case!) and great breakfast! Highly recommend!

Good place to stay
Most wonderful people. Very helpful and friendly. Room was fine but a bit of street noise. Good breakfast. Location is near sants train station and on bus line. Also near metro so easy access to everything. Good restaurants in the area.

Excellant hotel
No frills room but clean and comfortable. All staff were helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and was served until 11. Highly recommend.

Easy to find the place but the hostal was 2nd floor and we didn't know how to open the front door of the building. It was confusing at the first. The room was clean and spacious for the hostal.

Looking for a great budget hotel?
+ Lovely helpful staff. Clean comfy room.Free safe in bedroom. Complimentary drinks and breakfast. Whilst not in the main tourist area this part of Barcelona is great for shopping, bars, restaurants and of course Nou Camp Stadium. Good transport links into tourist area. - Noisy road traffic if room at front ask for side or back room. Masturcating plumbing system so noise every time somebody flushes toilet, showers or runs water. Could do with mirror in bedroom.

Everything was great.
We only stayed a night here as we were headed to the airport the next morning. However, the service was excellent and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The Hostal is located in a great part of town with plenty of great shopping and food options close by.

Great location, very quiet at night and easy access to public transport to reach main attractions. Very spacious and clean room. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Nice to have a coffee machine available at all hours =)

This “hostel” is more like a full service hotel, with a personal family touch flair added... my partner and I had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights in Barcelona, and every staff member there treated us like one of their family members. The owner, Anna, is so sweet and was full of helpful information re: things to see in Barcelona. If we are ever back in the city this will be where we go, no questions asked!

Ana and her staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. I lost my key and my wife and she found them both 😁 The breakfast was excellent and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. It’s great to see such friendly faces when you come back from a long day of touring, or shopping!!!!

very nice boutique hostel services and team great good location, clean and comfortable breakfast nice, option to put your food in freeze, it would be better small fridge in each room not to bothe the eam each time you need something (the hostel demand) the only problem the noise of pumps everytime you us bath and toilet good value for price

You Will Love This Place
Hotel Aslyp 114 provides the perfect blend of personality and professionalism. We enjoyed several days here, next to bus stops, restaurants and food market. Breakfast was great with summer ripe fruits in addition to all the usual. Help with sight seeing and printing out tickets. But the best was the outgoing personality of Anna and the helpfulness of Josep, as well as other great staff.

Convenient location - walk to many attractions and easy access to buses. The staff at the Aslyp were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were super and gracious helping us work through a problem of our own doing. They were also very quick to replenish the breakfast spread. Can’t say enough positives about the service provided by the staff.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Dedicated owners expressed interest and made valuable suggestions. Sold city bus 10-ticket package and assisted with sight tickets. Location was ideal in the middle of Barcelona and steps from transportation. Grocery at the corner and Hostal Aslyp 114 had common area to eat and fridge for guest use. Clean, bright, aircon, lift, 24 hour desk attendant, free coffee, great breakfast variety. Very safe neighborhood.

Great breakfast
All the rooms are on the second floor of the building, and reception and the breakfast area are just outside your door. It's an odd setup, but it works. The rooms are spotless and modern, and the noise from the street is minimal -- mine was surprisingly quiet. The continental breakfast buffet is truly outstanding, with croissants, toast, jamón serrano, pa amb tomàquet, tortilla, fruit, and plenty more besides. My only complaints were the bed, which could have been a bit firmer, and the shower, which inevitably got water all over the bathroom floor. The place is a bit hard to find because there's no sign on the street.
