The property doesn’t have any reception or staff, that is managed by hotel 153 which is a 2 min walk along the same road. You can use all the usual facilities at 153. It’s very near the beach, and bus stops for travelling

The room was tiny, just big enough to fit 2 single beds and nothing else. If felt like a prison. There is ample parking at the back at the property but this is charged at 11 euro a night.

Hotel was very far away from city center, Moreover i never saw staff in hotel anytime also they no provide any daily use things like in bathroom. However i pay good money but i thing it not worthy as they provide services to customers

Didn’t like having to walk 3 blocks with luggage after checking in. Didn’t like that the WIFI didn’t work. Especially didn’t like that this hotel didn’t understand that a mistake had been made in the booking and REFUSED to refund monies to an elderly lady on a fixed income….charged her $506 for 1 nights stay in a tiny, but very clean room

We just had a room for one night, for the money we paid we are happy , it is not a five star hotel but it was clean. Location was very good.

I loved this place all around, though don't expect the room to be fancy, because it isn't. But it IS well maintained, properly equipped, and comfortable. The wifi did NOT work the entire time I was there (it would barely connect), and I was next to one of the access points on the second floor. The biggest complain I had was housekeeping staff banging doors every morning around 6 to 7 am... c'mon lady, can we extend quiet hours until at least 8 am? The bar/cafeteria area was also never staffed. Other than that, I really enjoyed the place. I would recommend it if you're looking for a cheap room in an accessible area with lots of amenities.

Staff were all amazingly helpful, the rooms were nice, 15 minute walk to the train station to get to Barcelona and 3 minutes to the beach and the prices were good. The only issue i had was the hallways were pitch black.

Outdated and tired.
OK hotel for an overnight stay. Room was quite small. Beds were old and need replacing. Bathroom was spacious - best part of the room. WiFi slow and problematic. Breakfast was available but we didn't use it. Hotel needs some serious updating.

Stay too short
We only stayed for one night and due to the ferry from Italy to Barcelona breaking down we did not reach the hotel until midnight and left at 9 o clock the next morning but what we saw of it was very comfortable and would certainly stay there again for longer

You get what you pay for
Arrived 1am jet lag from US. It was a noisy street, but cozy little hotel was relaxing. Very small room and not great quality bedding, but it did the job for a 2 night stay. I spent most of m time in city of Barsolona so room wasn't a priority. If I was looking for a comfortable place to rest, I would give it a lower ratting. All in all you get what you pay for

Poor hotel but lovely staff
I would not go back to this hotel. The rooms are tiny, beds very uncomfortable and they were 2 small single beds pushed together. Not fit for a couple. There was a horrible smell in the bathroom everyday. The lights were turned off in the hall which I found very dangerous when we were trying to find our room, especially with the stairs. I have to give huge credit to all the staff. We stayed nine days there and every member of staff were lovely and accommodating. The hotel has a little bar where you can sit out and have a drink which is one of the good features of the hotel, and it was a pleasure to sit down and watch the football on the TV. Overall a hotel with lovely and friendly staff but I would not return

There the option to choose the bed preference but not guarantee from the hotel before. We are open 24h also with the light are off during the night. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is very clean. It's right next to a beach. Nice place for a hipster. Cons- make sure you arrive at 3pm because they won't check you in. Also the rooms are extremely small just big enough for 1 person.

Poor choice. Never return there.
Very small room, mediocre breakfast, poor location, difficult transportation very bad Wi Fi.. The best part: bed OK and service personnel helpful.

Hotel was nice & clean
Didn’t get to stay at this hotel due to system issues, but was booked to Hotel 159 instead which was on the next block. Hotel was supposed to be nicer. Room was clean.

Why is this hotel rated 1-star????
When I think of a 1-star hotel, I imagine having to sleep with one eye open, in fear for my safety. While the rooms are no-frill, the hotel is lovely. It is clean, with helpful staff, and the common areas are very inviting and comfortable. There is air conditioning, wifi and a flat screen tv in the room. There's a plethora of restaurants nearby, and the beach is only a couple of blocks away. The hotel is about 30mins from Barcelona. This was fine for me, as Barcelona was extremely busy and overwhelming. I was soooo happy to return to this quiet beach-side town after a long day in Barcelona. If you like the beach, quiet evenings, good food and cheap drinks - you'll enjoy your stay here!

All of the staff here were simply amazing. Although we did not speak much Spanish we were welcomed with smiles and love. Bienvenidos! You’ll love the beaches and restaurants. Experience a real part of España and visit hotel 139 in Casdefelles.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, and very close to the beach! The neighbourhood is relatively quiet and the air-conditioning in the room was a nice break from the hot weather outside.

No hairdryer in the room - had to ask for it. Aircon was not working, asked receptionist to fix but nothing happened so asked room maid who got batteries for the remote changed for me.

The host and staff were so kind and helpful during our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and allowed for us to leave our belongings prior to check in time while we toured the city. When considering how we hope to visit Barcelona again, we will definitely stay at Hotel 139 and not in the main part of Barcelona. We felt so safe and looked after during our stay. The bus stop is directly in front of the aim lobby and traveling around was so easy. The café at Hotel 139 was delicious and the drinks were amazing. I can not recommend a better place to visit when traveling to this region of Spain. Excellent service and value!!
