"Really nice friendly hotel with good accommodation excellent facilities and located in the centre of town. We were halfway through the Hadrian’s Wall cycle way and it was ideal place to stay with friendly efficient service, good food and staff who really looked after you. Great would recommend and hope to stay again."

"Really nice stay but shine was taken off by one of staff being quite confrontational. Lovely welcome and check-in spoiled by an older lady I believe called Nicola (that’s what came up on the digital till when I purchased a drink later in the evening) who involved herself unnecessarily in the check-in process.
