"Fantastic grand old property, in an amazing location on the Duoro River, brought to life by the very friendly staff. A private wine tasting was organised for us and was a very enjoyable experience. Elsa was great. It was raining a lot while we were there, so did not get to use the pool. The food menu could be improved. You can get here by train from Porto. Ermida station is just down the road."

Please is spotless, with great hospitality and very nice staff that is always there to help and answer any questions you may have. Breakfast was plentiful and very good.
