"We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. "This hotel is well located near the city center and close to restaurants and malls, shops and pharmacies. Upon my arrival, I was embarrassed because, despite having made the reservation and paid 24 hours in advance, my reservation and payment were not in the bank system. I had been asked to pay to guarantee the stay. However, the next morning it was already in the system and I was refunded the amount paid the day before, and the manager apologized for the inconvenience."
