Zebrina Guest House - living in a huge treehouse

Zebrina was quite lovely and was like living in a huge treehouse. THe staff were friendly and the breakfast really good - medium poached eggs and cripsy bacon was spot on. Great coffee and red cappucino too!!!

The accommodation was safe and provided everything we needed for the night. What made it really special was the atmosphere which was extraordinary. People of all kind brought together by lovely, outgoing host Robert. And then the green and lush decorum of the breakfast room and attached garden melting into each other with many wonderful little terraces and secluded corners, stairways up to the sky with surprising views over the city. It’s breathtaking. You must see it to believe it. Five stars from me for uniqueness and individuality!

A comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at Zebrina. The lodge is structured in a very user friendly way and whilst they don’t have a large pool area they have 2 smaller more intimate one. The two things I would say almost take away from it are the lack of air conditioning in the reception and public areas and the weak Wifi. Notwithstanding it is a very nice place and Noma was absolutely amazing

keinen zweiten Besuch wert

Wir waren leider total enttäuscht. Als wir ankamen wurde uns ein dunkles Loch zugeteilt; das Badezimmer war unterirdisch. Wir haben um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten und auf der anderen Strassenseite auch eins bekommen. Das neue Zimmer war heller und das Badezimmer deutlich besser. Allerdings waren einige Haare und Dreck auf dem Boden. In dem Gebäude fanden Baumaßnahmen statt; von welchen wir geweckt wurden. Mit 4 Sternen hatte das nichts zu tun. Das Frühstück war ok, man wurde satt. Allerdings gab es nur Instantkaffee.
