The ride from the Safari Lodge along the Sabi river takes about an hour in each direction and you'll see more animals then you've ever seen in your life! Truly. Majestic. Awesome trip. You don't need more than a couple or few days unless you want a safari experience and stay in expensive tents etc. This place is perfect for the casual traveler who wants to see animals animals and more animals. "This was a fun stay with a safari feel, but there wasn't much game watching in this residential Eco Estate. This stay was in winter and the tents were cold, although sleeping was fine with electric blankets. However, all of the staff were very accommodating and the food was good, especially the breakfasts."
