"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "It was a terrible experience from start to finish. The flat reeked of smoke, communication with the host was awful, and to top it off, there were large spiders. I reported the issues to both Hotels.com and the host, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Would not recommend."

"The property was about a 5 min walk to the train station. The room was very clean and we appreciated that the refrigerator was stocked with free items. The included breakfast was the best we have ever seen. The A/C was excellent which we noticed was not true everywhere. I would rate this hotel 5/5 and we will definitely stay here if we get the opportunity to come back to Basel."
