Clean and efficient

Very clean, efficient, clean and modern hotel. The hallway and rooms are mostly white, which emphasizes the cleanness but lack a warm atmosphere. It is a functional hotel. Quite and comfortable for an overnight stay.

Great Location For The Tram To The Town Centre

If you want somewhere to just put your head down for the night then this is perfect but the rooms are a little small. The tram service in to town (number 14), which runs right to the centre of town is literally less than a 5 minute walk and free to staying guests.

Very friendly and helpful staff - nice lobby, the room was nothing special but fine; the location was a bit disappointing on arrival, but they provided all guests with a free pass for public transport throughout the entire city, which was very helpful and got us to the historical centre via an easy tram ride within 15-minutes.

June 2024 stay

We had a lovely room overlooking the railway. The room was large enough for the 3 of us and they even gave us a kettle to bake our own drinks. Lady on reception very helpful. The breakfast was lovely and good choices.

Not my best night in a hotel

I arrived late. The bar/restaurant was closed. The room was rather noisy (I think there was a highway next to the hotel). The hotel was accessible from city center by uber. I’m not sure I could have done it by feet. The staff was friendly. I had to leave early. I haven’t tried the breakfast. Also the alarm rang during the night and all customers had to leave their room to meet in the lobby. Hopefully no fire. It was not really a good night.

Bokade hotellet endast för i natts övernattning dÄ vi landade sent och skulle resa vidare nÀsta morgon. Rummet var i okej skick, men i absolut minsta laget, vi hade endast handbagage med oss sÄ dÄ fungerade det men det finns knappt plats att stÀlla ner nÄgot pÄ golvet. Otroligt litet rum med stenhÄrd sÀng, det lÄg dessutomen gammal T-shirts under madrassen! Badrummet Àr litet men funktionellt! Skulle inte sÀga att det Àr ett prisvÀrt hotell sett till storkeken pÄ rumnet! Skulle spontant sÀga att hotellet inte ligger nÀra nÄgonting, kÀnns verkligen som att man Àr i ett avlÀgset omrÄde av staden. BusshÄllplats famns dock inom gÄngavstÄnd, men det Àr inget bildskönt omrÄde! Okej frukost som innehÄller det man förvÀntar sig av en hotellfrukost, varken mer eller mindre! Trevlig personal, eller iallafall sÄ trevlig som schweizare kan vara, förvÀnta er ingen varm och personlig service i detta land!

la habitaciĂłn era grande, pero el olor dentro de la habitaciĂłn era desagradable, el aire acondicionado no servia, nos prestaron 2 ventiladores para intentar ayudar con el calor del verano pero no resulto mucho, ademas tuvimos que abrir las ventanas de la habitaciĂłn para intentar retirar el olor. No volverĂ­a quedarme en este lugar.

Helt ok/bra boende för ett par nÀtter. Rent och fint ( lite dammigt under sÀngen :- ) Bra pris för att vara i Basel. Bodde hÀr tvÄ nÀtter, frukost ingick. Fin lobby. Ligger lite off men ÀndÄ lÀtt att komma in till stan med spÄrvagnen eller en lÄngprom. Vi fick Baselkortet sÄ vi kunde Äka gratis med spÄrvagnen.

TrÚs bien pour un court séjour touristique

Établissement trĂšs bien situĂ©, pas trop Ă©loignĂ© du centre historique de BĂąle (1/2 heure Ă  pieds). Le tramway passe Ă  quelques dizaines de mĂštres et permet de rejoindre le centre rapidement. Le ticket Ă©tait inclus dans notre rĂ©servation. L'environnement de l'hĂŽtel (dans un nƓud routier et ferroviaire) est compensĂ© par une isolation phonique trĂšs efficace. Il est mossible de louer une place de parking pour 20 CHF la nuit.

This is a very convenient hotel. The room facilities may not be luxurious, but they are well-equipped and clean. The staff are friendly, and the location right next to the station makes it easy to go anywhere. The breakfast food is fresh and healthy. Highly recommended
