Disappointed stay at Boutique Hotel 01
It was a last minute booking. The front counter staff were not friendly to receive us. Given the price of the room that we were paying, I had very basic requirements. Clean room and washroom. The air ventilation in the washroom was very bad and had to be closed.

Affordable and nice hotel
The room was okay, service are good and nice deco however quite far from street food and convenience store. The pool is nice but not really clean and chlorine too strong.

It’s a Botique Hotel
A very good conceptualised Hotel.. good staff and friendly. My room is big and clean. Breakfast newd to improved. The only complain tto this hotel is the WIFI connections. I cannot connect to my room and as a traveller we most need WIFI connections in some reasons.but overall i enjoy staying in this hotel.

Deceiving images
1. The room sizes: -Booked the superior room.but was given the standard room. Yet they insist its superior room when the difference betw super and standard room is room for walking space around the bed to accommodate an extra "bed" (which is effectively a mattress only). - Toilets are smelly. - Basically only suite is decent to accomodate a couple with kids. - In the end, better to upgrade before spoiling the trip. 2. Amenities and supplies: - towels are chargeable - no fridge - spoiled lightings in rooms - slim finger-sized shampoo with small of soap. - the live band / club is non existent - the pool table, soccer table and dart is only available in the day. Recep counter recreation ends 11pm, while recreation area service staff says end 1030pm. - the menu is super limited. - unmanner and open access and entrance to the hotel. All in all, highly decorative exterior with an unmatching interior. Would not recommend unless for the budget travellers. The only good thing was the driver who gave good advises and service.

Run down cheap budget hotel
The hotel was run down, the rooms were old. The feeling was cheap budget hotel. At this price there are much better options nearby. The bathroom and toilets were run down. The amenities were outdated. in almost the same prices range there were much better and renovated hotels nearby. I finally checked out the same day and decided to move to a different hotel.

Gaudily / Eerily Beautiful... You decide!
The hotel is insanely, gaudily beautiful with an immersive Egypt-themed setting from the entrance to the reception, dining area, walkways, stairwell and even swimming pool. I felt like an explorer in Egypt with the pyramid images, pharohs and all. Was kinda paranoid that they'll come to "life" at night and come knocking on my door! Hahaa... :"D The dishes from room service were lying on top of the fire hydrant from the time i checked in till the time i checked out. I didn't take notice if they were the same dishes, but it kinda tarnished the cleanliness of the hotel, which was such a pity. Breakfast buffet line closes at 10am. I was at the dining area at 940am, and there were barely any food left. Two couples came along and the staff brought out some food to lay onto the buffet spread. Though there were not many items to start off with, I was still appreciative that they bothered to bring out more food for the few of us. It's about 15 minutes walk from the Batam Centre Ferry Terminal to the hotel. Although it is not right smack at the ferry terminal where the mega shopping mall is, it was still quite a good price to pay for such a clean, beautiful hotel with swimming pool that is within reasonable walking distance to amenities.
