Very clean & Friendly
Wonderfully comfortable! The employees were very friendly & check in was quick! Our tv control wouldn't work and someone came right away to help, although it still didn't work. They offered to switch us to another room which we declined because we were already in pajamas & tired. Breakfast was so-so. Overall, we would stay here again.

Emergency near hospital
Our son was in the Bay McLaren Hospital in critical condition..We stayed two times and both times were great. Breakfast was a plus as we were stressed and didn't know the restaurant businesses close by. Thank you Hotels.com

I travel a lot for enjoyment and this is one of my favorite hotels! Had good breakfast options, clean, and quiet. Had shopping around it and food places. Not to far from Bay City State Park with a beautiful water view. Loves the hotel and customer service was top tier! Would and plan on staying again!

I am a travel agent and I was on my way to another destination so I decided to stop here for a overnighter to get some rest. It was ok. Wasn't the best. You could tell they was trying to upgrade and remodel things so that was a plus. The beds was comfy and they had the correct amount of pillows. The wifi was good too as I had to do some work before bed. There was a walmart right across the street which is good if you needed anything.

I had bugs in my bed and took videos. The staff member watched the video & did/said nothing after. Acted as if it wasn’t a problem.

Hello Randy, Thank you for leaving a review of your stay. The video that was shown to the Front Desk agent was of a stink bug that managed to get its way into your room. The video did not show "bugs" like you stated in your review. Unfortunately, just like at home, outside bugs manage to make their way inside. That is not something we give full refunds for. I was in my office, directly next to the desk when you were showing her the video. You did not ask to speak to a manager, and she did apologize for the bug making its way inside. We do apologize again that the Stink Bug made its way inside your room.

Nice Place, Good Price
An over night stay to connect with friends. Enjoyed the stay as the room was large, bed was comfortable, shower was great. Breakfast had a good variety and good quality.

First room smelled of cigarettes and musty. Second room given the bathroom door had to be forced shut. The door handle was nearly falling off due to forcefully pulling to get out of bathroom. Toilet was loose at the floor and move able. After a few hours away we came back to the door latch being left in the open position. Anyone could have went in our room. With cleaning services every 3 days, being asked to put dirty towels and trash outside the door is just nasty. The staff was courteous.

Hello June. I am so very sorry that you had issues during your stay with us. I know you had issues with your bathroom while you were here. As soon as we found out about the issue our maintenance engineer fixed them right away. While you were here, we had our carpets cleaned and they left your door open. I truly understand your concern regarding that situation. This is definitely not the impression we want to leave with our guests. As you can see from all our reviews posted on multiple social media sites, we really do try to give each guest a great stay. I hope you give us another chance to give you a great stay if you are ever back in our area.

We had a pleasurable stay at this property. Very clean, very quiet even being across from the elevator. Staff was friendly & plenty of choice of shopping & eating around this location. The only issue I would have is that there is only one elevator in this hotel & it is quite small & SLOW!

Facility was attractive and very clean. The drapes blockedthe air flow from the AC which made it difficut to get the room cool enough. We found the breakfast lacking, so we went somewhere else to eat,

We have a variety of meat options throughout the week as well as may different pastries, yogurts, breads, cereals, make your own waffles, fresh fruit and more. This is a pet-friendly establishment. Dogs barking at all hours. Entire lobby and elevators stink like chlorine. So much so that it stung our eyes.

I am not sure if you called the desk to report a barking dog or not, but we had not received any other complaints regarding noise. We try our best to handle noise complaints immediately. I am also sorry if the chlorine bothered your eyes. Our pool is located directly off the lobby and right across from the elevator. Our levels are checked daily, but I will have maintenance double check everything. We hope to see you again if you are ever in our area.

The room had a terrible oder. The room had not be updated. Old and smelled. I called on a refund . The manager only wants to refund 15.00. Monday I will be contacting corporate and Hotel.com.

Hello John, upon speaking to your wife when she called, (who did not actual stay with us) she originally stated that you told her the room had a slight smell and a few loose tiles. I asked if you had called down to let anyone know about the issue and she stated that you did not let anyone know when you got to the room OR when you checked out. Then we get a phone call, 2 days after you checked out, requesting a full refund is not something we could do. I did have an employee check the room as no one had stayed in it since you checked out and he did state that a few bathroom tiles had some missing grout which is why I agreed to the 15 credit but the room did not have any smell. It was not until after I emailed your wife back stating I would refund 15 were the issues "terrible and outdated". We try our best to give each guest a great stay and you can see that from our long list of wonderful reviews! When you do not give us an opportunity to address or remedy any issue it makes it very hard for us to issue any sort of refund especially days after you left.

Had somrone working in the hallway until 11:30pm banging on walls and vacuuming. Black hair on bed and all over the bathroom only good thing so far was friendly and kind front desk staff

Hello Amber. I am so very sorry that you had issues during your stay with us. I am not sure who would have been vacuuming at 11:30pm because we do not have any staff working at that time besides the Front Desk employee and she was not vacuuming the hallways. I also do not see that you mentioned anything about hair all over the room to the front desk. We would have gladly moved you to a new room. We try our best to give every guest a memorable stay, so I am sorry that was not the case with you. We hope you give us a chance to give you a great stay.
