"Staff was great, check in process was smooth and speedy. Hotel is a lot run down and flithy. Elevators took a while to come. It was ok for a one night stay."
"The property was nice. Had a Caribbean vibe. However I found it no different than a Holiday Inn. It was really just another hotel. I didn't like that we were restricted from ordering certain things on the menu from one of the restaurants. Not because it was available but because it was something from the kids menu. Something that they didn't offer on the adult menu. The other restaurant would not seat you in the restaurant in the morning. You had to sit outside or at a table close to the outside. And the food was not that good. Had to send several things back. And was afraid to try anything else from the menu. And the main thing. Beach chairs amenity was not available to use. You're a beach front hotel and advertise beach chairs as an amenity but did not have them available. Staff said they wouldn't be available until starting memorial day. Does not make sense. Therefore we were unable to lounge out on the beach during our stay because we left our chairs at home because they said they had chairs. Definitely not one of our best vacations or stays."
"The hotel was clean, but older and not updated. The Jacuzzi in the pool area was not functional, and the outlet in my bathroom was not functioning so no use of hairdryer or other electric small appliances. Of the three Wyndham properties I stayed in on my travels, this was the most expensive but the least functional."

"We enjoyed our stay. Employees were very helpful and friendly. We loved our room, was clean and had everything we needed. Location of the hotel was perfect ."
"Stayed in the Jr. Executive Suite and loved the additional space the room offered. There are few photos but the 2nd floor suite (there are only 2 but the 2nd floor is the one I stayed in) has 2 separate balconies, ocean view, party over patio area, view is basically dead center of hotel with panoramic views of ocean. Saw dolphins both days we stayed! We actually brought a very large Queen size air mattress and were able to have “2” beds (the King) plus the air mattress in addition to the queen size sleeper sofa. Easily fit 4 adults, 1 child, and a service animal. The are 2 mini fridges so that was great, a kitchen sink, microwave, coffee maker, we brought a small Keurig and shopped at the nearby Food Lion. The hotel is located north of the boardwalk and the main VA beach areas that are very congested. Quiet and peaceful are the only words to describe the area! I have stayed here more times than I can count and this is the first time in the suite. The indoor pool is heated, very nice, and the hot tub is HOT! The outdoor pool was open but too cold to review. I did watch all pool areas get full attention by staff both days I stayed. Very clean! Didn’t visit the restaurant on site but it was busy and the menu prices weren’t bad and they were pretty busy for dinner. All in all I highly recommend this hotel and the Jr suite!"

4/10 Poor
"When we got into our room there was hair in the tub and walls of the shower, the side of the tub was cracked and the drain plug was broken out and sitting on the side. Was very hard to bathe our child with no plug. Paid for a full kitchen and did not have a full kitchen only a microwave and small refrigerator. The photos of the room showed full kitchen and ocean view and our view was of the city unless you stood over the balcony and looked sideways. The floors in the room were so dirty we all had to wear socks to walk around the whole time and the bed was rock hard. The pools were a plus luckily we were able to spend more time there because the weather was nice."
"I came in for a short weekend. I had an amazing stay. My initial room was conjuring room. I was not aware of I told the staff and they changed my room, with no hesitation. Staff was very friendly and my room was very spacious and clean."
