"Motel style accommodation. Clean room and bathroom. Bed comfy enough. Separate toilet and washbasin. Nice fluffy towels. Plenty of parking. Walkable to good places to eat or for shopping. Nice walk along the beach. Internet could be slow at times and limited number of points for charging phones. TV a bit tricky to work out - instructions would have been useful. "

"The room was large and clean. Bathroom and kitchenette were great. We had room 1 which is on the lower floor, nest to the entrance and under the part were the owners live. The large patio doors are about 2 feet from parking and that is your view. The back of the unit is the owners back yard so there are two small high glazed windows. For privacy you have to fully close the patio curtains so you feel like you are in a bit of a bunker. We were only there for one night so not a big deal but I wouldn’t spend several nights in this room. I assume the second floor rooms had the sea view for the sea view motel. "

"Warm, friendly & helpful hostess who had just recently taken over the hotel. Stunning views over the Bay of Islands. However breakfast service and content was poor at times. The room lacked aspects at this price level. Towels were frayed, no safe for valuables. Also access to the hotel is tight and challlenging. "

"What an incredible view. We loved all the amenities and enjoying our wine and charcuterie in such a please setting. Hosts were genuinely so kind. Very convenient to town without all the tourists. "

"The view was incredible Two bedd and 2 bath, but unfortunately only 1 toilet for each floor, so not as convenient for older guests The second bedroom is only suitable for children"
