"Beautiful hotel, amazing staff. However, no where was it stated that you have to pay an additional $50 per room as a retainer. Would like to have been informed either on the website or in their welcoming email. Parking was a headache"

"I booked through a very popular website when I showed up at the property. I was told that my reservation was canceled. I should’ve got an email from them not Hotels.com, which I booked through. I was treated probably the worst I’ve ever been treated by a hospitality manager at a facility I would not recommend this place. They were rude. I asked two questions and at the end of the second question about who is responsible for the money I paid he told me to leave his hotel or face trespassing charges not only do I not recommend this hotel I have written a formal complaint not only to him to the hotel management to the hotel ownership and to the website that I booked through luckily the hotel website Hotels.com not only reimburse me immediately. They gave me $100 credit to the new hotel and help me book that new hotel, which ended up being a four-star hotel in Denver. I couldn’t be happier about that but this hotel and the manager was the worst I’ve ever been a part of. "

"Housekeeping were great, but the front desk were not very helpful. Asked for trash bags and said they didn’t have any but when I asked housekeeping, they gave me some. Also, the air conditioning in my room didn’t work. There’s no power to the unit. The water in the sink came out extremely hot and would take a while to cool down to normal temperature. Got a deal on the booking so I got what I paid for but for a downtown spot the theme in the decorations were okay. Not Hilton or Doubletree usual work."

"There is no justification for $7 bottle water in the hotel lobby or $55 per night valet parking. Only tells the hotel only wants to exploit customers. It is not about cost but I what one gets for it. Sonesta will not be my first choice in the future"
