"The hotel is in an economically depressed part of Eureka, but we still felt safe on the hotel grounds. The hotel has plenty of parking and a beautiful secured courtyard. The courtyard has a lushly landscaped Koi pond with a little walking bridge over it. Hiding amongst the lush plantings there are frogs who sing at night. Close to old town but not walkable to old town unless you want to get a long walk in. Lots of dining options nearby.
