I was given a back room and refused it because it’s very unsafe. Insisted and it took a while to convince clerk that as a single woman, it was not safe for me to be where he had put me.

The property was utilitarian in a less than desirable area. The beds were not comfortable and the toilet did not work probably. The staff for the most part were friendly and supportive. Breakfast was included and my traveling party said they enjoy it. The property was near the zoo which has the Redwood Sky Walk. It is also about a 30 minute drive to the Avenue of the Giants which was breathtaking and a must see. We were there to see the redwoods and that did not disappoint but the lodging in the area will not nearly match this experience.
