"I have stayed for years in Inn by the Sea La Jolla overall it is a very good hotel. However, now they have a breakfast to your room option. I ordered the oatmeal and coffee and was sadly disappointed in the oatmeal and coffee, both very bad. I thought I was supposed to pay $20 but they have several added charges written in very small writing which brought the price up to $30!!! Spoke to the manager and complained, he was very nice and did not charge me. I do NOT recommend the new breakfast...

"Loved the OPI!! Fantastic place to stay especially if you’re planning on surfing in PB. Walkable too many surf shops to rent boards and plenty of restaurants and bars to check out as well. Don’t hesitate to stay here, free breakfast while basic was adequate every morning. Customer service was top-notch."
