Hotel Edgewater

Hotel Edgewater

10/10 Excellent
"The view from or room was awesome. The room looked right out on Resurrection Bay. Many options for dining around the hotel. Many local tours available in the area. Free shuttle to the cruise ship terminal. The hotel breakfast was over priced and it the same breakfast you get free at most other hotels. Again the view was worth every penny!"

Hotel Seward

Hotel Seward

8/10 Good
"Location is perfect for restaurants and access to the primary shopping area. The historic room was that including a hike up two flights of stairs. Newer private bathroom was a good upgrade. Spot is at the opposite end from the cruise ship dock which was also a plus to be away from those crowds. It is also close to the Alaska Sealife Center which is well done. It has a newer side with elevator access so wonder how the price and room itself would compare. Historic Queen was tight. Seward itself is a beautiful spot, but take the Kenai Fjords tour to see how spectacular that National Park is. We got to see Denali and the mountain itself earlier in the week but this area is way more spectacular and we live in Colorado."
