Very indifferent reception and money up front. Very slow bar, food poor. Blue room small, bed good but very hot with windows unable to be opened. No robes or slippers but good tea and biscuits. Nice friendly waitresses and waiters. We will not be returning as the inn has deteriorated under new management.

Brilliantly located for exploring Beaumaris itself, but also an ideal base if you’re going off exploring. Staff are all really helpful and have great knowledge of the local area. We stayed two nights B & B in the Townhouse and loved it. Breakfasts are great and the evening menu was good too.

An Anglesey highlight
Absolutely amazing place! So cozy in the pub, particularly the room for hotel guests. The lilac room in the townhouse was also fantastic. Planning gern to come back next!

Lovely accommodation and quality restaurant with very good food. Stayed in Townhouse. Very nice room, spacious with everytjing that you would expect for the price. I read the criticism of breakfast in rooms but from others but I had no issues with that. Nice breakfast delivered promptly...bit of a novelty/chamve if anything. Premises was very clean with regimes in place. Would recommemd.

Great for a night away with the dog
Lovely hotel. It’s in an excellent location for the beach (2 minute walk), castle (1 minute walk) and town centre. The room was a good size and very clean. Measures had been taken given the pandemic. There was a little bed and blanket for the dog, as well as a water bowl. This was my first night away with my dog (9mths and fully toilet trained) and it was very nice. We both slept well. The staff were all very friendly. I had room service in the evening and breakfast was delivered because of Covid. I found that very convenient.

Lovely room- very large and comfortable. Only criticism was breakfast in bedroom which was very poor. Will definitely revisit but next time will just book room only and go into town for our breakfast.

Nice stay
Room ( indigo) was modern smart and clean Breakfast was delivered to room but order was Very late and wrong on 3 occasions. I asked when I booked if I needed to book a table in restaurant and was advised As it was a Sunday it wouldn’t be necessary Resulting in being told on check in when we wanted to book a table it was fully booked Very annoying. Overall nice room location good but service hit and miss

Beautiful and ancient hotel, and great to see the cozy bar and gorgeous restaurant open again. The rooms are named after Dickens characters as he stayed there, but really who wants to stay in a room named after Uriah Heep!! Also it was a bit of a sad dark room. We'd ordered breakfast but because of covid, this was served in bedrooms... which would be ok but there wasn't a table and it was eg. A juice box and a squashed croissant in a paperbag. Decent coffee machine but nasty coffee pods... Staff all lovely Change the name of the room Lick of paint to brighten it Folding table and a breakfast tray of nice things Would be great Thank you

Would highly recommend. Perfect location Fabulous friendly staff. We had a dog friendly room which came equiped with basket, blanket and bowls which was a nice touch. Lovely room over looking the street with a very comfortable bed and great shower. As the hotel had just reopened due to Covid locksown, breakfast was served in the room, it wasnt the best but ok under the circumstances. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic. Heritage of the building is unique, cozy beautiful rooms, got great sleeps at night. Pub and fireplace guest lounge are fantastic. Restaurant also great.

I stayed for 5 nights in late August 2019 and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodations, food in the restaurant (particularly the breakfasts), and the service from all staff. The rooms in the main building were cozy but well-appointed. A friend of mine stayed in a room in the "townhouses" across the street which were very modern - point being if you want traditional, the main building has the rooms for you. The pub itself was a big draw for me and it did not disappoint with it's historic charm. Overall, a fantastic stay and value for dollar is high. I will definitely return.

Stayed 2 nights at The Bull hotel. Our room was on the ground floor and faced an inner courtyard/restaurant. The Good: Central location, quiet, good-sized room and paid parking is convenient. The Bad: Black mould on shower tiles at eye level, very warm room all day/night despite the outside temperature being 18C-20C in the day (there is one small plug-in fan supplied). The radiators and towel rail were off, so not sure why it was so stuffy. The only window we could open was above the french doors, so quite a height. The french doors could not open and even if we chose to, it would be 3 feet from the restaurant. The electric outlets were in inconvenient places. The only reasonable way to use the kettle was to put it on the carpet. When using the hairdryer, the cable wasn't long enough(or plug too far away) to be near a mirror. We stayed in the Pickwick Room. Factoring in all the issues, it was a bit overpriced in my opinion. You're paying for the location basically.

Enjoyed this hotel and the pleasant town of Beaumaris. Offered choice of room which was great and also ate in the restaurant, which had a great atmosphere and decent food. Only slight negative was the older bar area which seemed a bit drab compared to the rest of the hotel. but otherwise all good. Would definitely recommend.

Likes. It’s history, lovely staff, delicious breakfasts Dislikes. Parking but was manageable using nearby car park £4.00 overnight. Beautiful large bath but no toiletries. Had to visit local chemist to buy bubble bath.

Nice room, lovely evening meal. Did not realise the overnight rate EXCLUDED breakfast. Probably I didn’t look at the terms closely. However we were not pleased to find the hotel had no parking. It cost £4 to leave the car in a public car park a few hundred yards away. Not good if you were elderly or had a lot of luggage. Could see no mention of this on their website
