I loved Beijing! Lots to do. It was great seeing both the amazing cultural locations and wandering around the parks and general shopping/ eating areas.With a bit of pre-preparation (guide books/screenshots etc), I had no issues getting around.

Beijing exceeded all expectations for me when visiting. It's an historic city with a vast array of attractions to visit. We felt incredibly safe at all hours in the city, and the Police were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

If you want to go to Tian anmen square to see the flag raised, get there very early. It is truly an experience.

Lots of things to see but be sure to book tickets for Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square at least 7 days in advance. Visit to the Great Wall is a must. I went to Mutianyu which was brilliant and not very crowded. I heard that Badaling gets vey busy.

It was still really hot at this time of year (October), which was unexpected. There is so much to see and do in the capital and surrounding area. It's a great option for a short visit.

Pékin a fait des efforts considérables en matiêre d'environnement en mettant en service des taxis électriques pour diminuer la pollution de l'air. Les transports et les bons restaurants sont excellents et il y a de quoi visiter dans cette mégalopole

My unique observation is that the hotel is kinda old, and on one of the corners of the room had dust accumulated, also the strainer in the bathroom had bad smell, but with te extractor it was gone"
