I could not find a refuge on the trail and decided to try this venue. I will absolutely do it all over again. To begin with, the owner, Alfred, was very responsive before the trip. "The hotel is tired and dated. The decor is old fashioned and there are parts of the hotel that are in need of updating or repair, especially the area near the ski locker room. There is a lack of atmosphere in the hotel, which is a shame as it could be a great place. It is in a great location for the ski lift, and the rooms were comfortable and showers were good. "

"Great location and decent sized rooms in comparison with some other places I have stayed in Val D'Isere in previous years. A big negative though was noise... the walls between rooms have very little soundproofing meaning that noisy neighbours make their presence felt! In our case a large group who liked to party at 2.30 am meant we got very little sleep. The hotel did its best in trying the get the other guests to show consideration, but to little effect."

In the email of confirmation there was nothing said about the place not offering bed linen, towels or even TOILET PAPER..... indeed we arrived and had none of the above.
