"We love this hotel and have stayed here numerous times. Our daughter attends SLU, and it’s a great location, close to campus with great amenities, so it’s always our first choice! This past weeks was the first time we ever ran into issues. Check in was easy, but the desk staff was less-than-friendly. She did ask if we wanted housekeeping- to which I replied yes- mostly to get new towels. Upon leaving the first day, I gathered up all the wet towels and tossed them into the tub. When we returned that evening, trash had not been emptied, beds made, and all the wet towels were still in the tub. When I went down to the desk to ask for clean towels, she came back and told me she was “only able to find 3.” There was also a birthday celebration happening in the pool. It was SO loud and the children were so rambunctious (running around the pool, banging on the windows from the hallway, bashing one another with pool noodles and so. much. screaming) we finally decided to pack up and leave. The way the pool area is open to the lobby, I don’t know how the desk staff could ignore all the noise! We will still be back- we think was just not our best stay. We love the breakfast. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. The ladies helping with breakfast are always a delight!"

"The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The staff friendly and very helpful. We also received 2 vouchers for 3 drinks each (beer or wine) from 5:00-7:00. They also had nachos and cheese, chips/salsa and pretzels. A nice surprise! We will definitely stay there again."
