"Breakfast selection was very good for italian breakfast with sufficient fresh fruits. Location was absolutely fantastic with easy access to all trains, subways, buses, and taxis as well as major tourist points of interest. Building is relatively new so plenty of outlets. Hotel co-exists with student housing but the two are well separated so absolutely no issues. I would definitely stay here again."

"Palazzo Caracciolo has been our go-to hotel for over a decade whenever we visit Naples, we go there once a year since my family leaves there. The staff is consistently fantastic, always helpful and courteous. Gennaro DS is the best!"

"Good clean room. Staff did a workaround we requested to make the double bed more like twin single beds. They also lent us the small scissors we asked for. The room had good acoustic isolation with the streets outside, as it managed to silence the noisy streets outside. Good air conditioning. Had a medium-sized safe that could hold a laptop but didn't have a frigobar. Spacious bathroom and shower box. Bidet with appropriate aiming. Very diverse and good quality breakfast. The internal areas of the hotel are well kept, cozy and decorated. Checkout at noon is great, as there are other places that say 11 or even 10 in the morning. There are also things you can buy in the reception, like various drinks, snacks, and electric gadgets. Location is great in the sense it is as close as it gets from the main train station from the city. Unfortunately, not the hotel's fault obviously, most of that central city region is a slum. "

"This place is not for anyone over 50. The location while close to train is frightening, very frightening. The rooftop is not open so no bar no breakfast no anything The room has nothing in it, no tissues no soap on tap, the pillows are non existent they are two pieces of hard foam. The beds are hard as bricks. It us not a place I can recommend but the staff tried their best and were cheerful and helpful but the hotel was beautiful 40 years ago but not now."

"Room was large and nice, needed a little TLC. Area around the hotel isn't great. Americans if you have never traveled to Italy / Europe before: wash cloths are not usually provided ; the have A/C but it does not work great ; the room key card has to be placed in a slot to turn the power on to the room, so when you leave the power goes off."

"A very strange check in with no signs to tell you where to go and no active reception. The building is old and not in a great area albeit very close to the main station. The room was however clean and comfortable and once we got hold of the manager everything was very good"

"The reviews threw me off for what I was expecting. Location is a 5 min walk from the train station but that walk was very questionable. Pictures do not show that the property is buried between allies with graffiti all over the walls. Left at 4am for a flight and there was trash all over the street. The area was one thing that is not in the hands of the hotel, but cleanliness is. The bathroom sink stunk of mildew which was awful. A simple drain clean and scrub could eliminate this, but instead you can see the gunk build up and most of all smell it! Imagine wanting to freshen up and getting hit with that smell. Brushing your teeth and washing your face was excruciating. Breakfast area seemed nice but was not able to experience it. Enjoyed the complimentary sweets at the entrance. Would not return to this location personally."
