"We come up to Bend several times a year and always try to stay at the Riverhouse Lodge."

"Unfortunately there was a disturbance just outside my hotel room window which resulted in police presence (at no fault of the hotel). Otherwise the room, bed, and hotel itself were pleasant."

"The hotel is well maintained, and although it is next to a busy intersection, the rooms were quiet. The hotel description is a little misleading in saying that laundry facilities are available. We were advised by the front desk that they are not, although the manager will arrange for dry cleaning. When searching hotels for our stay, I had only considered hotels that said they had laundry facilities as we had been camping for a few days & I wished to wash our clothing before returning home. We ended up handwashing our clothing for the airport and hauling the rest of our used laundry home. I will say that the front desk person was very polite, understanding and cooperative, and tried to help us cancel our reservation (although we ended up staying there as I’ve heard nightmare stories about getting a refund when booking through Expedia, it sounds like many people get caught between the 2 companies (Expedia and the hotel), and I didn’t want to lose our $$. If they had not listed laundry facilities on the website, I would have given the hotel a higher rating."

"Clean, nice lobby, breakfast is hot and OK. Above average coffee ☕!"

"This hotel is dated and desperate need of a renovation. There is no elevator so if you are on floor 2 or 3, hope you like stairs. The pool and hot tub were closed by the Health Department in January. The chair in the room looked like a cat scratching post. "

"Wow! What a great stay. When we walked in everything was clean and tidy and we were greeted by friendly staff so off to a good start. We walked into one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in, fabulous AC, comfortable bed and great shower with lots of pressure. On top of the great hotel it is located right in the old mill so you can just leave the car parked and a great walking trail is 100 yards away as well as many shops and restaurants. We will be back for sure🙌"

"The staff was so friendly and helpful , recommended amazing places to eat the room was clean and honestly one of the best budget friendly places ever ! Make sure to eat at the diner across the way Laurie’s had an amazing breakfast"
