"We found the accommodation very good. The rooms were large and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served an excellent standard of food, with good service and a nice atmosphere. Parking was conveniently outside our door. There was a good view across the lake and all the amenities were in walking distance or certainly less than 5 minutes drive away. We would certainly recommend this venue."

"We really enjoyed the stay and the place, we recommend it! Easy access, quiet, clean, there was everything we needed in the kitchen, very organized, and loved the chickens that live there. As downsides, there was one time during a storm when it started to rain a bit inside the building. Also, a portion of the back of the wardrobe in our room was broken so we could see into the hallway. And lastly, after the storm, the front door code pad stopped working so we had to use the side doors."

"This charming property has many of the features of a high quality building from the 1960s. Rooms are quite small, but very ckean and comfortable. Hydronic heating and electric blanket made it a cosy spot to return to after dinner out and an evening's performance at the excellent Ulumbarra Theatre. All these attractions were only a 15 min stroll away. Trafgic noise did not intrude despite being on a main road. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My request to avoid smelly air freshener was...

"I enjoyed my stay here. It was a spacious room and had everything I needed. Despite the pillows not being exactly to my preference, I had a comfortable sleep. I also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. When travelling in Bendigo again, I wouldn't hesitate to book again. "
