"The staff is amazing, the hotel is very aesthetic with plants everywhere and is maintained very clean. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the fresh juices and fruit in the morning are amazing. The location is very convenient as this property is walking distance to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and only 10 minute drive from the old town. The rooftop pool is a great place to see the sunset as the view is amazing. The only feed back is that the pool is too warm and a bit small."

"Las Islas was an experience of Caribbean luxury. My wife and I spent the last few nights of our honeymoon and were delighted we chose this place. The treetop bungalows were stunning, with particular added comfort in the canopied bed frame and air-conditioning. The balconies offer a private relaxation spot while still enjoying the peacefulness of nature. We even had some monkey visitors to our porch one morning. Breakfasts are included in the rate and we felt they were value for money with an excellent selection of coffee, tea, meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, and freshly prepared eggs in a scenic waterside setting. Lunches and dinners are additionaly but fairly priced, being prepared to a high standard. The selection of seafoods and wine was a particular highlight. As with the rest of Colombia, be sure to only drink bottled water during your stay as the tap water will leave you with an upset stomach. Overall, we were very impressed with the level of service provided at Las Islas and would recommend it to anyone."

"The hotel was outstanding in every way—the food, the scenery, and the luxurious, yet understated design. I had been searching for a specific type of beach resort for a long time—one that was small, quiet, yet still maintained the family atmosphere—and the Sofitel Barú checked every single one of those boxes. Aside from the beach not being very long, meaning we could only take short walks along the water, there were always beach chairs available and there were also daily barbecues around lunch time, which were some of the many highlights for my son and me. The staff were all incredibly warm, and the hotel manager, Juan Luna, was also very helpful and was always there to ensure that we were enjoying our stay and that are accommodations were met. Overall, a wonderful stay filled with positive energy and good vibes, reflecting the beautiful spirit of Colombia that makes us excited for our next visit hopefully very soon!"
