"I stayed at Bora Bora Beach Club Hotel for two nights and I absolutely loved it. It’s a very upscale resort with beautiful decor, delicious food, great music, and a breathtaking beach. The staff were exceptional, with great personalities and wonderful energy. I especially want to mention Ivana, who was the warmest and most exceptional person I met during my stay. She has an amazing personality and really made the experience special."

"El hotel es muy bonito, de fácil acceso en vehículo, con parqueo. Te transportan en una lancha y te reciben con una bebida refrescante. Pudimos conocer todas las islas del rosario, nadamos con plancton por la noche, hicimos snorkeling y fuimos a playas privadas. "We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. The restaurant chef whipped up delicious local favorites, made to order, and the piña coladas were nice and cold! The hotel was still in the process of renovating during our stay, so I expect that our short list of less-than-perfect’s will be improved in the near future. Overall, the rustic island atmosphere was a welcome respite from the bustle of Cartagena. The accommodations were basic but comfortable (working AC!) and we felt exceptionally looked-after by all the staff. As an added bonus, for others like us who are used to having to shake our shoes every morning in the tropics, there seem to be virtually NO dangerous plants/animals on the island – no poisonous snakes, no sharks, no crocodiles – just hermit crabs and a few mosquitos (and even those weren’t that bad). Looking forward to seeing this hotel blossom and thrive!"

"Samuel was the best service staff we have ever had. He made an effort to learn English words with us while also teaching us Spanish. He definitely made the trip even better. As for the island, it was incredible. The boat ride there and back was 1000x better than a day trip boat I took a day prior with another company. It’s breezy at night on the island which helps keeps the mosquitos away. Would definitely recommend staying at least 2 nights to be able to fully enjoy the island :)"

"It is a great place to relax and unwind. It is a small island; the hotel has only eight guest rooms and welcomes day trippers between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. After 3:00 p.m., the island is left entirely to the overnight guests. During my stay, there were only four guests, which I loved. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless, and the air conditioning worked well; the views, food, and cocktails were all excellent, and I give the service a 10 overall. The only thing I would recommend improving is communication regarding transportation. We had a minor issue, but they handled it professionally. I also think the island is best suited for couples; I was traveling with a friend and thought it would be easy to switch to a room with two beds, but I was told that all the rooms had only one bed, though I didn't mind sharing the bed with my friend. I recommend Pao"
