"We were visiting to bring our grandson to see DC. He loves history and this was a perfect spot for that. All the sites we wanted to visit were readily accessible via either Metro, or a nice walk. "Finding the area for parking was difficult so we had to park a few blocks away, but other than that the hotel was lovely. Staff was super welcoming and helpful, the room was very nice and comfortable. When we noticed a problem with the room they immediately came and helped and even offered to move rooms for us. "The hotel was pet-free, which is important to me. So many hotels are focused on being smoke-free, but few seem to have forgotten there are as many people allergic to pet dander. The rooms were nice. The service was very good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I wish the rooftop had been open. I was there Sunday and Monday. The hotel does merit a redo soon. However, I found everything to be great."

"Nice location and very good price/value for a meeting I had in Cyrstal City. Used the nearby Four Mile Run walk/bike path to safely and quietly get to/from the work meeting. Nice room and facility overall. Pool open noon - 8 PM with a lifeguard. Breakfast was good, but they ran out of food and took a few minutes to refill. All in all, great hotel for the money. "
