Stayed overnight here before taking the boat to Flåm. An easy walk from the station, and an equally easy walk to the quay next morning for an early boat. Nice location with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Very good value and breakfast was superb. The room was spacious and very clean and a nice bathroom with very generous sized, nice quality towels. Highly recommend

Spot on!

Just stayed here and found it really nice and close to everything. The decor was fun and the room was a good size. Nice small bar when you walk in and a really good breakfast. Great value for your money.

Fantastic location

Love the Hotell, the staff and the location. The only minus is that we had to change the room because of the bathrooms. The first one we had was designed such that we had NO privacy in the bathroom and that’s not nice when you are on a romantic trip. Then the second room we had faced the Main Street, it was badly noisy at night because of Mac Donald’s right the corner. We closed the window but then the room got badly hot, despite turning the temperature down. Other than that it was a good stay, very nice, friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, but no windows in room nor desk

Location is great, the hotel is clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable. If it's litteraly just to sleep it's fine. But not a pleasant place to stay : no natural light in the room, only in the bathroom, can't open a window (felt a bit stifling and unhealthy), desk too narrow to fit even a laptop, in the end I had to sit on the toilet and move some bathroom furniture in order to me able to work and have day light. According to the floorplan, probably half of the rooms don't have natural light in the room. The safe was broken, the curtains were torn from the rail, both things I flagged to reception and they didn't do anything about it. No mirror close enough to a plug to be drying your hair seeing what you're doing. Not wardrobe to unpack into (just 4 hangers next to the bed) . Overall I expect a 4 star hotel pays attention to these kinds of comforts.
