What a wonderful property in a great location in Bergen. From check in until check out, I was impressed by the staff, especially Silvia, at the front desk, as well as all the breakfast staff. The room was comfortable and well equipped, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was awesome. Big windows that looked onto the front of the property and it was all spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing, so many delicious options well presented. I look forward to another visit to this hotel, it was truly special here.

I liked that it was affordable and quiet area and decent breakfast choices. But I didn’t like that it did not have any hand lotion/ face towel or an outlet for the hair dryer in the bathroom. And I could not adjust the room temperature.

Staff was welcoming & knowledgable. Well appointed, comfortable bed & accomodations. Walk to food, shopping, transportation, etc. Close to the port & train station. Taxi across the street. Breakfast was delicious w/ great assortment of food. Restaurant food & bar was very good. We stayed twice: at departure for our cruise & at return. We highly recommend Hotel Oleana.

Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff. Walkable access to just about everything Bergen has to offer. And the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Fabulous find! The hotel is a 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants yet in a quiet leafy area. Staff are great, so friendly and helpful and always a smile. Food was delicious, my hubby got the steak and it was the best he'd ever had! Breakfast is buffet style but they had everything you could wish for. You just have to try this place. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

The staff were all very attentive to us in particular with regards the loss of one of our Suitcases which failed to arrive with us and our plane!! KLM our carrier have subsequently located the missing suitcase and are to forward it to us. However, with us only staying at the Oleana Hotel, Bergen the one evening the importance of ensuring the suitcase is not received by the Hotel in our absence was recognised. Thoroughness exemplary. Our evening meal was good quality and value with the following mornings breakfast varied and of a high standard. Head waiter a good communicator, First class.

Great stay at lovely hotel in great location. Were here one night between flying into Bergen and departing on the Hurtigruten. Can walk to the dock from the hotel if you don't have too much luggage (15 minutes say).

Oleana excellent
Wonderful hotel in the heart of Bergen. Super breakfast and helpful staff. You have to get ice in the lobby, but they give you a whole bucket.

Great location, very friendly staff who spoke English really well. Excellent breakfast display. The only thing we did not like was the bed, they put two single beds side by side, and they moved apart, also the mattresses were way to soft, but good enough for one night’s stay.

The room was a bit small but otherwise the hotel is great. Super helpful staff (Azhar) and a great breakfast. The location is terrific although it was a bit noisy at night with the windows open. I loved the decor.

Everything at this hotel exceeded expectations. The decor was eclectic and beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious and extensive, something there for everyone. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place in downtown Bergen.

My room had huge TV screen on leg screwed into the end of my bed - blocking the window and making you feel boxed by it. The hotel up-keeping should invest into a good new hoover - as the carpets are super dirty (including various corners of the rooms - if spiderwebs, dust & somebody else’s long hair on the carpet isn’t your thing- book elsewhere). Bathroom on other hand was spotless:)

Hotel Oleana was excellent except for a couple of minor issues. -The elevator didn't work properly or was out of order. - The housekeeping staff took our key card out of the room holder, thus turning off all power. We were trying to recharge electronics. They claimed it was a fire hazard to leave power on in the room. They kept the key card. We needed to get a replacement. The staff was otherwise professional and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It was in an excellent location. Loved the decor.
