Spacious apartment in convenient location. Minimal and cheap-ish decor. Very noisy neighborhood. Apartment very hot during warm days in April. Would need AC in summer. Reception offered fans.

We really enjoyed our time here. We had a problem with the shower being clogged and no one responded to our email unfortunately. Other than that it was a nice location and layout. Some of the furniture could be replaced and a microwave would be nice. Also a bath Matt and extra towels would be good. I couldn’t shower the last day because I had to use mine to clean the floor from the clogged shower drain.

Excellent place to stay - clean, safe and spacious. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Even assisted with printing a train ticket for us. Great location - walking distance to Under den Linden, Brandenberg Gate, Jewish memorial and many more

The location of the apartments is fantastic; close to sights, transport, and a supermarket, as well as the Mall of Berlin. Check in was efficient, and our 2 bedroom apartment a generous size.

The apartment was huge at a great location. I booked it through Orbitz and have pre-paid for the rental. However, we were asked to pay cash when we checked in. I ended up had to deal with the refund due to their error. But at least the management was courteous.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Berlin. Massive shopping centre 2 minutes walk. Brandenburger Gate, holocaust memorial grounds & Reichtag only a few mins walk. The apartment was spotless. Will definitely stay there again

Large apartment in a great location. The only small criticism was the sparse nature of the furniture and fittings. It had everything it had to have, including a good TV but nothing more which led to the apartment feeling empty and noise echoing around it. No lock on the bathroom door either.

It's a great apartment and a great location for visiting all the sites. Only complaint I have is that the apartment was over-heated. It felt oppressive, I simply could not sleep with the heat. Leaving window open let in the noise from the city that keeps you awake (otherwise inaudible). They explained that it's centrally controlled and nothing they can do. I did not sleep for the entire time. Shame as it was a fantastic apartment and location otherwise.

Location is incredible. Within half a mile of Apartments are many can’t miss historical sites. Our unit was clean and functional. Washer is a plus, but no dryer. Plenty of restaurants to choose from right around corner.

Location great. Property owners excellent to communicate with and the fact it had a reception desk at the apartments makes checking in relatively easy to other apartments. The living area, dining area and main bedroom all had plenty of space. The second bedroom was really cramped. The bathroom needs updating as it had an unpleasant odour. The second bedroom was immediately opposite the bathroom, so to avoid the odour the second bedroom door was required to be closed in order to sleep. When showering, the shower curtain constantly blew onto your wet body, which was annoying. When we first used the shower, the bathroom floor was very wet, with water located under the washing machine, also located in the bathroom. As we had used the washing machine, we reported the water on the floor issue to reception, who immediately had someone check the problem The solution was to lower the shower curtain hanging over the bath, but it did not resolve the issue entirely, The kitchen and bathroom could be updated or modernised. The apartment, although basic, was okay overall as it was spacious, in a safe and great location, and provided good value for money.

The shower head did not fit properly and so it was annoying when trying to shower. The apartment also took some time to heat up once we turned on the heaters. Otherwise we had a good stay in a great central location .

This property is extremely well located for walking many sights of Berlin. It is basic but comfortable and was very spacious for our family of 5. It would have been good to have a microwave in the kitchen.

Great family vacation
2-bedroom apartment had a generous amount of space. Perfect location near multiple landmarks, restaurants, shops, markets, and public transportation. Bathroom was on the small side, but it had everything we needed. Overall, the apartment was clean and comfortable, and all the staff members were very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

BE AWARE, you have to wait for keys - Pay cash....
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR KEYS - we had to wait for the person to arrive with the keys to this apartment, keeping the taxi waiting and us waiting too, the person who turned up was very helpful though - on arrival there was NO dry towels, (were also stained), they were drying on the airer or still wet in the washer - the dishwasher was FULL of partially clean dishes, additional dishes draining on the sink - I personally do not expect to start unloading dishes and doing laundry on the arrival of our stay. The cleanliness was appalling and we asked for it to be recleaned, which was better but still not up to standard - we also had a problem with the lock and was locked inside, we had to make contact again and ask for help, the locks were sorted out the following day, we did not feel safe feel safe locked inside in case there was a need to evacuate or that we wanted to go out etc, they were aware of the faulty lock. The kitchen drawers/kitchen equipment were filthy, there was a dead cockroach looking bug dead on a bedroom floor and very dusty and looked as though it had not been cleaned for a very long time, there was thick black mould in the shower, thick scunge around the shower cubicle, there was a terrible smell in the bathrooms, I think this was due to the cleanliness - DO NOT look inside the pillow cases or duvets as they are very dirty/old looking.. the list could go on. Had to pay cash. GOOD points: location excellent, apartment toasty warm & friendly staff.

Brandeburger Tor apartments.
The apartment was very clean, warm and quite well equipped. A problem with the shower and a lamp were dealt with quickly. The bed was comfortable. The furniture in the living area was quite sparse but adequate

Massive, warm and comfortable apartment
Checked in out of hours with key code and map to apartment. Staff very helpful in providing us local transport information to get to the hotel & access apartment. Cot and high chair set up ready for us to use out of hours and then paid the next day. Very close to Brandenburg Gate and could see the museum of murdered Jews from our window. Also found out we were staying on the site that hitlers bunker was on... he killed himself there with his wife!! Great kitchen facilities. Bathroom very basic and old. Apartment absolutely massive. Warm rooms, very spacious. Needed lift to the top floor with a pram, but we knew this before arrival so was fine. Restaurants nearby. Good place to chill and good base for Xmas markets. Like other reviewers have said- doesn’t have any ‘soul’, it’s vwry scarcely decorated/ furnished but didn’t matter- did it’s job!

Property location is excellent. We stayed on one of the rooms on the 6th floor. But the apartment is FAR from the posted photos. The ambience is depressing. Dimly lit. Very dusty like it has not been cleaned in ages. Door of the toilet is VERY hard to lock. Found some human hair on the bed. (we are all short hair so its impossible that that hair is from one of us) Couch are old and its fabric is already breaking. Will never recommend this apartment.

Excellent location, and roomy apartment at reasonable price. It was clean and pleasant, but don’t expect too much from this DDR era apartment. It’s very plain and just an everyday building. Unfortunate situation with building hot water repair occurring from 8:00am to 2:00pm in the middle of our three night stay. Only communication was a letter on the front door of the building which was in normal font and easy to miss. This was extremely annoying. Staff were otherwise very nice and courteous. Recommend this apartment over hotel if you need lots of space, need to save a little, and want a central location near major attractions with good UBahn access. Also had reasonable parking fee.

This was an amazing apartment in a fanstatic location. It was easy to check in and the apartment had plenty of space for the four of us and there were towels and a hair dryer provided.

Room and location were excellent. However, our unit was in a building still undergoing construction with noise, dust, and debris in the hallways and no communication about this in advance. I would not visit again unless I knew that the building was finished.
