A staff member came to the room and said it was not a problem because the water was not cold. Ideal central location with Alexanderplatz station only minutes away, but the hotel is very dated, thin walls meant I could hear everything being said in the next room which didn’t help when they had a screaming child. The hotel also has a room cleaning request button (in the bathroom) that you must press before 11am to get the room serviced for the next day. I pressed the button twice during my stay and my room wasn’t serviced. "

"Generally a nice hotel with clean room, easy access to station and public transport, and good breakfast. But a few things were issues: - Expedia states the hotel has laundry facilities. This is not correct. There is only an expensive laundry service. - for other hotels I am staying at on my trip, Expedia states that local taxes must be paid separately at the hotel. There was no mention of this for this hotel, but I was charged an extra 12 Euro at check-in. - the sink in the room had very poor drainage."

"Excellent in all aspects except one -- avoid the restaurant. It is mediocre at best with exorbitant (and hidden) prices. A cesar salad ended being $28. And they charge for tap water, it seems. But the hotel itself is fantastic! Great location, great room, great atmosphere. "
