"A very nice Hotel - each room are differently - but very tasteful decorated. Near the hotel is a restaurant Hotel du France - and our host reserved a table for us. We where also introduced to the nearby Art Park - Ile Art - and spend som hours there looking at amazing art installations. We higly recommend The Royal House Hotel and will definitely return."

Freundliche, hilfsbereite Betreiber, die alles mit Liebe herrichten. Zum Frühstuck gibt es Naturprodukte aus der Umgebung; bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse. "The property owners: Chantal & Alain were very welcoming and went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful, in fact it felt more like being at home and meeting up with old friends. It was also a perfect opportunity for us to practice our poor french, with very patient teachers!! We loved Besancon and would recommend Doubs Reves for anyone that is looking for a more personalised type of B&B in a quiet location steeped in history."
