We unfortunately booked this property thinking it was the bigger hotel and had paid in advance so there was nothing we could do. The room we booked was very small we couldn’t fit our luggage and the bed was very small for a couple. Mark went above and beyond to make us comfortable and moved us to a bigger room. Overall our experience was good but the customer service from Mark was outstanding.

Small but nice
This is a bed and breakfast so expect a room smaller than hotel. That said, the room was nice ,clean and conveniently located to city center. Great breakfast.

Very clean, modern hotel. A few things were not too clear. We didn’t know where to park and finding the WiFi information was not too clear but a nice place. We’d go again.

I think the amenities and hotel room had all the basics. It is ok for a 3 star hotel. The staff were polite and customer service was good. The room we stayed in however had a few issues, 1) toilet flusher kept coming off the wall but his was fixed after informing the receptionist. 2) Air- Con was not working even though asking receptionist to fix. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay for the price you pay.

It was centrally located and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good too. The bed was very comfortable but I would have preferred proper hanging space for my clothes. The one thing I really disliked was the lack of a bedside table for a glass of water, book etc

Fantastic, fun and easy going
Charly's was a great hotel. It has a large common area and the staff were very friendly. Easy check in and check out. Very easy going place to stay. We played a game of pool. The room was big and clean. Definitely we would stay again.

Modern hotel
Nice clean and modern. Would be nice to have had tea/coffee facility in room. Also clothes rail is over full length mirror which means once your clothes are hung up you can't see it. Also sink mirror only illuminated on one side doesn't give enough light.

Great hotel perfect!
The hotel is absolutely great and I have stayed in 43 countries 5star! One thing the sink needs a proper plug why waste water! Other than that perfect fit 3-5 nights!

You need a kettle for the room
Location is good. Parking instructions are poor on the web site. 9 Euros parking fee for the night is not cheap either. The room should have a kettle at least.

Parking in city centre is always tough, but we are glad that we have the possibility with puplic parking next to us. We can bring you a kettle in your room next time, we just need to know. Electronic room allocation liable to mistakes!!!!!
Electronic room booking facility allowed error in room booking in as much that I had booked and paid for 8 nights but on night 6 my room was erroneously reallocated and someone used their new key card to access my room. Had I not been in the room at the time it could have been difficult due to potential theft. However, I was in the room so was able to prevent new couple accessing. However, this highlighted problem in electronic booking programme. When I liaised with receptionist, he was apologetic and said he would contact manager etc, but for myself a middle aged single lady I felt unsafe in my room for the rest of my stay as I knew my room could be reallocated on the electronic system. So I had to sleep with the chair against the door thinking that if someone tried to enter the chair moving would wake me.So you sleep less well than if you know you are secure. The manager never got back to me with a better apology and anyone can apologise, its an empty gesture. Whereas had they offered me £100.00 I would have felt better. Will not be using that hotel again due to this. Plus I had to pay for my 8 nights in advance which means the customer looses any power to complain about poor outcomes/situations/dissatisfactions. This is all to do with electronic checking in, i.e. using less man labour = money saving. Next time I book a hotel I will only pay on checking out. Wifi was also inadequate.Kept dropping out. After 9pm couldn't use it,as so poor.

Noch nie so schlecht in einem Hotel geschlafen
Das Hotel ist modern und sauber. Der Check-In funktioniert automatisiert an Terminals - muss man also mögen. Die Smart-Zimmer sind zwar mit 15 qm so groß wie beschrieben. Da aber jede Form von Schrank oder Stauraum fehlt, definitiv nicht für zwei Personen geeignet. Mein Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Die Aktivitäten aus den Nachbarzimmern waren sehr gut zu hören. Darüber hinaus war das Rauschen der (Heizungs-?) Rohre die ganze Nacht über im Zimmer zu hören. Ich habe noch nie so schlecht geschlafen.

Für meinen kurzen Aufenthalt war das Hotel ideal, da es in unmittelbarer Nähe zur City liegt. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig, die Einrichtung könnte etwas moderner sein. Alles in allem aber für den Preis ok.

Die Unterkunft liegt nicht weit entfernt vom Bahnhof, sehr gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Es stehen auch Hotelparkplätze zur Verfügung, allerdings sind diese sehr teuer. Check In ist ohne Personal. Insgesamt kommt das Hotel mit wenig Personal aus. 3:22 Uhr hatten wir einen blinden Feueralarm.
