Visit Biltmore Estate, the largest privately owned house in the United States and tour its magnificent grounds. Discover many of the 250 vintage-style rooms in Vanderbilt’s Biltmore House, including a seven-story-high banquet hall, a library with over 10,000 books, an indoor pool, a bowling alley and more.

Admire the French Renaissance château-style architecture designed by New York architect Richard Morris Hunt. George Washington Vanderbilt built the mansion on the Biltmore Estate in the late 1800s and it is still owned by one of Vanderbilt's descendants.
