"Room was very clean and smelled like cleaning products when we walked in. There wasn’t a carpet, which was a plus. Check in staff was okay. There were complimentary snacks and drinks available. Breakfast was self-serve and there were a lot of people in the small breakfast area during breakfast time. Would absolutely stay here again"

"Great location, gorgeous view. Room was large and clean. The only complaint we had was the shower pressure. But that was obviously not a deal breaker. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again. It was a little too cold for the pool, but it looked lovely. Breakfast in the morning was perfect before heading out to the park. Loved that the shuttle stopped here too."

"We liked that the property had the basics right- clean rooms, comfortable beds etc. We enjoyed the piano sessions in the evening in the common area. While you can’t just step out and be in downtown, it’s within reasonable walking distance if weather is good. One annoyance was that we always needed to carry a physical key with us instead of card or app."

"I cannot figure out why this hotel did not receive a much higher rating on trip advisor or other rating platforms. The staff was terrific- friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the coffee-maker and fridge were a nice addition. The continental breakfast was generous and had a number of options, helping us avoid having to find a restaurant each morning and allowing us to get into the park each morning before the crowds. The location was perfect- right near both Bar Harbor and the park. We would definitely stay here again."
