Good stay

The Belfry is nice, a bit of a construction site but that didn't get in the way. Food, drinks and staff was great!! When I had a noise problem in my room it was dealt with and I even got a discount of 20% as I didn't sleep much. The pool was ok although looking old, I plan to come back when the new wellness centre is completed. The DJ was great, it as a fun stay. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. There's plenty of parking and electric chargers.

Grounds etc seemed well kept and attractive. Plenty of parking - mostly under trees so sap and other “droppings”😉 an issue. Our main gripe is the room we had - we were there for 2 nights to attend a family wedding at another venue and had booked two rooms both the same price. It was as if they were in two different hotels! The room we stayed in was tiny, lots of “people” noise and air conditioning whirring. Tv switched itself off every few minutes, no full length mirror, hot water took,with no exaggeration around 10 minutes to come thru and if you’re 6’ or over you cannot get under the shower head. The shower room itself was very snug. We were also on 3rd floor without a lift.

She provided a warm, professional experience, ensuring everything was seamless—including resolving a previous issue with receiving our bill via email. It’s the little details that make all the difference, and The Belfry continues to impress. We’ll definitely be returning—especially knowing that Mia is welcome in the Sports Bar, making it an even more enjoyable experience!
