Was ok for a short stay but few things did have issues with. Room as way to warm and things were not fully cleaned. Having a kitchen area was nice to have. Not sure I would recommend or stay again

Lovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. As a woman who travels alone for work, i feel incredibly safe there with the hotel having cctv in public areas and someone on site all the time. The bar area is very pleasant and welcoming. It will be my go to place, when in in the area, from now on.

Friendly staff comfy clean bed just wish there was a restaurant on site. Had to go to a local pub but will be better prepared next visit to use in room facilities. Didn't know about reported ghosts they left us well alone 😁

All staff were friendly when interacted with. The room we stayed in was very dated and cleanliness wasn't great (the bed was stained as was the mattress) There is a lot of noise from the road which was a little bothersome at times. There is modernisation works in place at the moment which I believe will improve the hotel slot

Spacious, clean and warm room, with integral kitchen. Comfy bed, plenty of plugs for charging etc.Tv and wi-fi worked fine. Currently no food, as restaurant being refurbished, but plenty of places nearby, and can also cook in bedroom.

The location is very convenient. The hotel isn’t luxurious, but it offers good quality for the price, with clean rooms and basic amenities that cover all the essentials. Generally, it’s a quiet place, though there’s occasional noise in the hallways when other guests arrive or depart, which might disturb light sleepers. Good value and only a short walk into town and bus stops. Comfortable bed and good to have kitchen facilities in the room. Staff were helpful with late night noisy guest. Walls are thin though so you hear water noise, folks moving about, current construction noise, traffic noise and frequent emergency service sirens. Hence average rating.
