Aston Locks, Birmingham and Fazeley Canal Taken from the A4540 road bridge, the flight can be seen here stretching towards Aston. Lock No 17 (the fourth one down of the Aston flight) with its wide side pound, is opposite the red brick of the recently built hotel. Beyond Lock No 18, the next bridge over the canal carries Richard Street.

The room was spacious, and so is the bathroom. The toiletries were good quality. The breakfast is very good, and there is a good selection of breakfast items. The porridge is exceptional good. The staff are hospitable. I would definitely stay here again.
