This was not voluntary, and the New Year’s party was not disclosed in the Expedia listing. The alternative accommodation was also very cold. We consider this a serious violation of booking terms, Expedia’s standards, and basic hospitality. The situation caused stress to us and our children and ruined our holiday on New Year’s Eve."
