"Slight problem on check in. I'd booked a triple room with balcony as we thought we'd have a bit more space also my husband and I like separate beds. We were given our key and found a double bed in a double room. Went back to reception and the explanation was a bit odd. Lots of ' but there are are only 2 of you' went on and no amount of me explaing would pacify them. I just kept getting told there was only 2 of us. Eventually after a very long journey we were tired so I gave in with promise of twin beds would be available the next morning. Still not sure that I got what id paid for. The room had a superb view and a very small balcony but it had sun all day. The view was amazing. Perfect view of the city of Montecattini. True Tuscan scenary and absolutely stunning sunsets. Bathroom a bit small but it was clean and had a walk in shower. Beds very comfortable with nice pillows."

"AC , I think the entire building gets turned down in the evening, regardless of what we set the temperature in the room to. Excellent location. Walking distance to the main square. Very spacious. Room as presented in the photos"

"We had a lovely 3 night stay The pool area is just whatโs needed to cool off in the afternoon The staff are friendly and helpful, it feels family run and they try to help wherever possible We walked into the old town from the hotel, itโs a steep walk uphill but if you have trouble walking I would recommend a vehicle The surrounding area is stunning Breakfast was good with options of hot and cold The bedroom was very clean, the bed was a little firm for my preference Highly Recommended"

"We stayed 4 days and are so glad we stayed here. The area has a restaurant right outside with the best view where they serve lunch and dinner. They also have a bar and a pool. Itโs an old castle and yet they keep it clean and pretty restored. Breakfast buffet in the morning was included for us. The bathroom comment from others might be from not understanding how to use it as you have to pump the button several times to flush. The staff was wonderful and helpful. They spoke English and some Spanish."

"Beautiful stay here. Restaurant was fantastic and they prepared special dishes to meet our vegetarian needs. Buffet breakfast with fresh cappuccinos was wonderful. Room was impeccably clean with daily cleaning service. This was our second time here and we are hoping to return to this authentic Tuscany resort. You will likely not find a better place to stay at in Tuscany."
