Hotel is a little worn. There was ongoing construction on my floor. Minor detail but the remote control for my tv didn’t work.
The complimentary breakfast is pretty slim, basically just coffee and croissants.

My room was next to a room renovation and after a long day, I was looking to rest. The room wreaked of chemical smells. I was then switched to an “upgrade”, which it ended up being a down grade. This room had no functioning air conditioning or proper tv service. Workmen came to take a look - fixed the tv but tried to fix the air conditioning but it never cooled the room. They also said it may leak water as the day goes on. I spoke to the manager, who said (once again) that I would receive an upgrade. After unpacking twice, I was finally moved to a decent room for a third time, which was the same as the one I had expected. All was fine and the housekeeping and front desk were excellent. I still won’t stay there again - too much hassle.

"Comfortable rooms in a peaceful lake location. Grounds are immaculate as are rooms. Good restaurants with some lake views and food is quite good although service can be a bit slow and spotty. Entertainment on Friday at the restaurant was a tad loud and annoying similar to kareoke with someone playing ..."
