"Really pleased we booked this hotel. Room with 2 double beds was lovely for 2 11year old girls and 1 adult. Room was spotless and clean throughout the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, at check in, breakfasts and check out. Complimentary breakfast in the booking price was excellent, plenty of choice. Location was a good 10-15 minute walk to the South Pier, which we didn’t mind. "

"Room was 3rd floor, so great view and not too much noise from the entertainment. Every member of staff was a credit to the hotel. Really couldnt do enough for us, especially breakfast and reception staff. Thanks brian for the custom made waffles!!! Would definitely come again. "

"Absolutely loved my stay. Claire and Mark are exceptional hosts and have created a place that feels both luxurious and genuinely welcoming. The bedroom was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was absolutely spotless – honestly one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen, which instantly sets the tone for the whole stay. You can tell real care and pride goes into every detail. And the breakfast… wow. Truly fit for a king. Fresh, generous, and cooked to perfection – easily one of the highlights of the trip and better than many much larger hotels. A fantastic stay from start to finish. Warm hospitality, immaculate rooms, and outstanding food. Highly recommended, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. 👑✨"

"The Room was clean, bed comfortable and staff very friendly, down to earth and cannot do enough to help, I asked for additional pillows and there was no hesitation, Leah on the late aft/eve reception was so nice to speak to and friend not to say genuine, as for all the pull downs this hotel gets I found this to be clean, comfortable and booked to stay again this weekend. We stayed in the Dutchman last year and paid more and we could not wait to leave there. For a budget hotel I would recommend The Nelson as the staff also make it, thank you for a lovely weekend."
