"We stayed overnight after visiting the tank museum and heading back up north. Welcoming staff and beautifully renovated inn. The rooms initially seem slightly expensive - until you walk in and realize you have a 'unit' rather than a room - large bedroom, large bathroom and superb lounge with fridge containing milk and chilled water. The rooms are well equipped with two flat screen TVs - next time we'll arrive earlier to enjoy the rooms more!"

"What a peach of a B&B! My heavily pregnant partner and I were visiting friends nearby and booked for the 1 night, and I have to say it was one heck of a night. Jacqui our host gave us a warm welcome to her gorgeous modern house that sits down a private lane in a meadow, with her small farm house a minutes walk away. We had the entire house to ourselves, which sports brand new en-suite bathrooms, a new kitchen and a lounge with full Sky package, xbox 360 (with the Kinect which is a hoot it...

"At £95 for the night I felt this was a bit much for the room I had. Bar staff were nice, no WIFI in the bedroom. A bit quiet in the bar, owner was busy on lap top and no music, not very atmospheric. The village is beautiful though"
