"It was a terrible experience from start to finish. The flat reeked of smoke, communication with the host was awful, and to top it off, there were large spiders. I reported the issues to both Hotels.com and the host, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Would not recommend."

"The flat was pretty good very clean very modern. Location is not great but the bus stop is in front of and with the basil card you don't pay for the transport so it was not a problem in the end. I would highly recommend. Very organised "

"The hotel was fantastic. It was situated in the perfect position for us, as it was very close to the train station and we spent a lot of time visiting other cities via the trains. The staff were very attentive and friendly and very helpful whenever we had any questions. They gave us a Basel card on arrival to grant us free inner-city transport and 50% discount on museums, which was a great help. The room was always kept very clean and we were very warm and comfortable there. Cannot fault our stay here, it was perfect."
